Our experience with the Toscano/Walker Team was a very good one. It started when I filled out a form on their website and someone very informed and friendly subsequently called us the next day, and then punctually mailed us a great package with local listing information as well as information on Ottawa in general. We then came to Ottawa and met Geoff Walker, while we took a prospective tour of Orleans.  From the get-go, Geoff was superb. He communicated efficiently with us via e-mail and was very accommodating with our travel plans, even picking us up at the airport.  He was a great tour guide around the area and was very professional in all aspects of the business. As well, the office manager, Jo-Ann, was very helpful and kind, both at that time and during our communications thereafter. 

 From January to July, Geoff kept in touch with us frequently and was even a great help to us, giving us advice on the sale of our home in Nova Scotia. We came to Orleans to buy and again, Geoff was very accommodating to our last minute house hunting plans on a long weekend. He was very organized and knowledgeable, and seemed genuinely concerned about us finding the "right house" and not just selling us any house. It was a very difficult three days of viewings, repeat viewings, and bidding wars, and Geoff knew when to assist us and when to back off as our stress level increased. We enjoyed his company and his professionalism and would highly recommend him to friends moving into the area. As well, we have very much appreciated Jo-Ann's ongoing assistance with community related questions; she has been a great help in an area where we have not known very many people to turn to when we have needed information on family doctors, piano lessons, etc. 

 In summary, our experience with the Toscano/Walker Team has been excellent and we will contact them again when the need arises.

We wanted to thank you once more for your assistance during our recent house hunting trip to Ottawa and to provide you with feedback on the excellent work done by Geoff.

Prior to the house-hunting trip, Geoff worked quickly and efficiently to pre-select houses to be viewed based on our instructions. During the actual house-hunting trip, he acted professionally and courteously throughout the week we spent with him. His dress and deportment were of a high standard and conveyed professionalism. He dealt with various parties in a considerate and respectful manner which was important to us. He worked diligently on our behalf making appointments to view houses and dealing with other real estate offices. He managed last minute changes on the move in an effective manner.

When we found the house we wished to purchase Geoff made all the necessary telephone calls and appointments with the lawyer, home inspector, etc. and dealt with the water assessment testing. All this was done quickly and efficiently and helped us a great deal due to the limited time frame we had to get all the necessary paperwork done. We would certainly recommend his service to those persons requiring professional real estate assistance. His personal approach and professionalism are exemplary.

Our home in Vars has been on the market close to 3 months with Grapevine.  While our initial experience of selling on our own was good, we suddenly realized that we had better get professional help since we had already purchased another home and our possession date was fast approaching without having sold our property. We hired Angelo Toscano and Geoff Walker's Team for a couple of reasons.  First we heard from friends that the Toscano/Walker Team sells a lot of homes. Second, we liked the fact that these guys would actually offer to buy the home of any potential buyers, provided these people would be trading up. We thought, at least they are willing to do a bit extra compared to the other agents who were interested in our listing.  I also liked the fact that Geoff took on the listing knowing that there was already a conditional offer on our house at the time from our Grapevine marketing.  I contacted another agent that same week, but he refused on account of the outstanding conditional offer.  

 From the very first meeting Geoff gave me a feeling of confidence. I could tell he was quite experienced and very professional and did not use those over-used real-estate ‘clichés’ that really don’t do it for me. It seemed as if Geoff had a plan from the very beginning and carried through with it. We had only a few showings followed by a quick offer and sold our home within two weeks of listing! We were not only impressed but also very relieved since we were facing paying for two homes for an indefinite period of time.

 I am writing to express my extreme satisfaction for the service that I received from Michelle Walker. I am a new home buyer and met Michelle when she offered to help me with finding a home that would meet my needs. She initially researched the market for homes that fit my profile and continued to send me new listings until I was ready to visit some of the favourites that caught my eye.

Once I had settled on a home, Michelle commenced the negotiation phase. She was able to negotiate a price that was within my budget. When the home inspection showed certain items that needed work, she continued to negotiate a further reduction in the sale price. I reminded her that this would further reduce her commission and she was unconcerned with that aspect. She also provided me with excellent referrals for a home inspector and had other names for other services.
